Beauty is taken rather seriously in Port-au-Prince. There are a variety of salons for hair, nail, and waxing services, at a wide range of price/class points. Here's one that actually had a couple of armed guards relaxing in the shade of the inner courtyard.

Regular market streets
My mind is on the streets of Jacmel, during Kanaval season, though my body is in Chicago. These are just regular market streets. Structures being rebuilt, clothes being resold.
